GOLD BACKED DIGITAL CURRENCY

Image
Idea is            "Govt launches Digital Currency backed by gold which will coexist with the fiat currency, whose 1 unit value is equal to 1gm of gold, It can be stored as an investment in a Digital wallet, and also can be used as a Currency with its integration with UPI, and also can be traded on the stock exchange as any other ETF, and also these units can be used to get loan just like physical gold." Benefit to People: 1) Keeping physical gold safe is a headache, and this GBDC provides an alternative investment avenue for people with the same benefits as physical gold. 2) Currency loses value to inflation, but with GBDC, there is no such risk, as one unit of GBDC is linked to one gram of gold, and Gold is the best protection against Inflation. 3) Makes it easy to buy and is relatively cheaper compared to buying physical gold. For eg, Goldsmith charges 4% of the Gold value as the making/dye charges for 24-carat gold coins; there will be no such charges f...

CASUAL FAILS

Who is the real achiever in life? What is real achievement in life? A student who cracked IAS exam? There are many who are selected forgotten in a decade. A conqueror like Alexander? He died, people say stories about him. He who is fearless is the real achiever, he who helps other and make it his profession is the real achievement in life. There is no such thing like a real achiever or real achievement in life, it is all created ones. In my opinion leading a joyful life is the real achievement. If possible be the person who can make other lives easy (like the scientists) for others.  Be helpful, joyful.. You are one of the luckiest persons, you are one of the capable persons. Failure No. 1 Fear Knowing one’s weakness and strengths and developing the play field of life on it is very important, mitigating the effects of one’s weakness and enhancing the advantage of strength through thought is important in being successful. I think the greatest weakness of mine i...

ROAD IS THE PARKING PLACE

Image
Look at the picture, what do you think is the problem here, whose mistake is it? We are fighting the new age problems of rapid urbanization with obsolete Infrastructure. I think we are not innovating enough to address the problem esp. India. Is it the mistake of car owners to park on the already congested roads? but why would they park if there is enough parking space provided by the Shops, commercial spaces? but why are these shops or commercial spaces couldn't provide the parking space which will bring in more customers? To commute through these roads, with vehicle parked on either sides, isn't it a stressful experience. With the economy growing, every household now owns multiple vehicles, but the size of the roads hasn't changed. It is better to expand the roads. but where do the existing shops go?  The best way to address the issue: 1) Establish commercial zones: New commercial zones should be established in different directions of the city, keeping in mind, the strateg...

Rising Land Prices and Income Inequality in India: Causes, Consequences, and Possible Solutions

Image
There was a time, two decades ago, when land was cheaper compared to other assets, such as gold. However, today, the cost of land in Telangana and across India is beyond the reach of the middle class.  Why is land becoming more expensive compared to other assets?  Is it due to the law of supply and demand, or because the amount of land available is limited?  It is true that to some extent, the limited supply of land is causing prices to rise. However, the total amount of land has remained the same over the past two decades.  So why didn't prices rise earlier, and why have they increased exponentially in recent times?  Could it be due to population growth? While population growth could be a contributing factor to consider, it alone cannot explain the significant increase in the cost of land in India. It is noteworthy that the population has only increased by 50%, whereas the cost of land has risen by 100 to 1000 times, representing an astounding percentage increa...
